I'm trying out the new beta thing for Journals and all that. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Doesn't work too well, right now, on the laptop, because it has a crappy resolution, but I won't judge on that.
Not much is going on just now this week.
Yesterday, I went to the #NaNoWriMo Kick Off. It was awesome! The ML was actually calling me by name, which made me grin. Oh, and really, truly blush It was AWESOME!
Today, we had the parent-teacher conferences for the kids. Madison has the vocabulary of a 6th grader. Seriously. She rocks my socks! She's doing GREAT in math. There are a few trouble areas, and it's mainly because she hasn't completely figured out which learning style is right for her
Ethan was the big surprise. He's reading at a 2nd grade level. He's having a few issues with comprehension but he's READING without an issue. That boy SERIOUSLY amazes me all the time.
Tomorrow is their Annual Halloween Parade at school. I'm going this year. I also baked muffins for BOTH classes. Chocolate chip, cinnamon streudel and banana nut. Thank you Betty Crocker for being Peanut Allergy safe One of the children in Ethan's class suffers from it, so we have to be careful.
